I went out to shut my aviary up just now, and the sunset was fantastic! Ran back in quickly and grabbed the camera. It's been a beautiful day today, once again the wind was a bit fierce at times, but much warmer. At 5pm the temperature in the shade by the back door was 60f. Not bad for the beginning of April. They warn it's getting colder from tomorrow though.
Well I've not had a very exciting day, been having one of my off days. I cleaned the guinea pigs and my budgie out, putting the gps out in their pen for the day, and did two loads of washing, took Emma for a quick walk halfway round the park, and went to the Doctors for an MOT and general whinge, blood tests and B12, plus my repeat prescriptions. She thinks I could well still be suffering from the after effects of the chicken pox, she apparently has someone else who had the same things. Checking my thyroid function again and I've to phone on Thursday for the result. The other things will take up to three weeks to come back, so have to go back and see her then.
Hopefully I will feel a bit better mentally and physically by then. I needed to cut the grass, my windows are filthy, I want to dig a veg plot, and I just didn't feel like doing anything. I just wanted to sit outside in the sun, which I did. And then feel guilty and restless.
My flippin hog was a pain last night. He finally appeared on the cam at five to midnight, came in from the wrong end of the shelter so I could only see his bum, sniffed the dish and walked straight out again. I waited for half an hour and had to give up and go to bed. This morning no food had been touched, so I would have waited a long time. I don't know if it was Ryan, but whoever it was is obviously not that hungry, spoilt git!

Lovely pictures Jan. Don't feel guilty about spending the time sitting in the sun. If it's anything like hear you want to grab every minute of it.
