Falcondale and beyond...

Went to Lampeter for a change today, change of shops, haven't been there since way before Christmas. Hooray, Somerfield sell multi pack yoghurts with Pineapple in. Long story, but I eat a yoghurt every single night of my life for my pudding, and I like Pineapple best of all. Every time I find somewhere that does them, they stop. Latest is Tesco. So that was the good news, bought two packs. The bad news is their carriage bags are shite. I only had about 5 items in, was walking back to the car and the handles gave way. End result, two of the yoghurts dispersed their contents all over my other shopping, gift wrap, box of chocs, gift tag. Not happy! Had to clean up with wet wipe tissue thing standing in the street with the boot of the car open!

Oh well, another beautiful day though, and decided to take Emma to Falcondale woods with the picnic lunch again. Ate it in the car, then started up the slope. Didn't take pics as I've done loads there before. Very steep hill upwards for about quarter mile I guess, then it levels out, and keep walking and you get to the road and the style. Well I came across some other people walking their dog, and rather than turn round and follow them, I decided to go back to the car the long way round, down the lane. So did take some pictures there as it's something different, not walked it before, normally just drive. I reckon round trip was about 3 miles, so good exercise had today, plus I've already done 5 miles on the bike today! I shall be entering for the triathlon soon, just need to brush up on the swimming (OC will know what I am getting at...)

Erm so the photos were of a little church on the end of the lane, not really ever noticed it before, called St Marys (aren't they all round here...) graveyard with sheep looking on from the field behind. The fields looked fabulous, like the fairways of a golf course today. I had to remove my jacket and tie it round my waist, and roll the sleeves up on my jumper, it was BOILING! Oh yes, I could put up with this for the rest of the year.

Which one's Shaun?
